The Best Things About This Book
These patterns are colorful, bright, fun and interesting.
There’s lots of variety here; no two afghans are alike, so you aren’t likely to get bored working from this selection.
You get lots of different blanket constructions here — a nice mix of motif patterns, stripes, one-piece afghans and a strip afghan.
These patterns are all totally practical. The finished projects look as though they’ll be warm, comfortable and useful – no duds included!
This book is GREAT if you need to use up yarn scraps — but it’s still useful even if you’re brand new to crochet, and you don’t have any yarn scraps. You can plan out your color combinations if you prefer, rather than being limited to only using the colorways you have as yarn scraps.
Apparently, these patterns were carefully tested, as evidenced by the book’s credits. The book includes credits for a technical editor and 4 different pattern testers.

I’m delighted to recommend this book to other crochet enthusiasts. It’s a book I think any crocheter would find useful, but it’s an especially good value for frequent crocheters who have a lot of scrap yarn that needs to be used up. It’s also an outstanding value for beginners who are relatively new to crochet, as the patterns are all easy to achieve good results with. This affordable booklet is a great value for the money you’ll spend on it.
